一年一度的Summer holiday算是来了，在这个喜庆的日子里，睡到天昏地暗 当然是十大必打卡项目。当然啦，活动还是要有的，雅思也是要考的。

今天要分享的歌曲就是“holiday”啦!

●Holiday

说到holiday, 咱们各大public holiday, traditional festival当然得了解一下。

New Year’s Day 元旦

The Spring Festival 也可以说 Chinese new year 春节

Lantern Festival 元宵节

Qing Ming Festival 清明节

May Day 五一

Dragon Boat Festival 端午节

Mid-Autumn Festival 中秋节

National Day 国庆节

像国庆这种旅游黄金周，毕竟时间长，自驾游(A self-drive holiday)高速还不收费，规划去旅游的人不计其数，也是促进了旅游业的发展。

黄金周我们可以说:golden week

旅游业：tourism industry

People tend to have a trip in tourist attention during the golden week which contributes to a boost in tourism industry.

在黄金周，人们喜欢去旅游景区，这能促进旅游业。

也有很多人，会错开黄金周的高峰期，避开哪哪都是人的crowded places, 选择在家躺尸，比如小编，hahaha,小编可能只是因为 懒!I'm a lazy bone.

所以，可以说：

When I plan my tours, I usually avoid the Golden Week in view of the huge crowds at the major attractions.

当我计划旅行时，我通常会避开黄金周，避开去一些拥挤的旅游景点。

不同的节日还会有一些独有的习俗或活动。

比如:

春节：(放烟花)set off fireworks, (吃饺子)eat dumplings, (看春晚)watch the Spring Festival gala

元宵节：(赏花灯)watch lanterns, (吃元宵)eat glutinous rice dumplings, (猜灯谜)guess lantern riddles

端午节 赛龙舟：Dragon boat race

中秋节：(团圆)Family reunion, (赏月)appreciate the full moon, (吃月饼)eat moon cakes

●Game

节假日，安排一下。

放假当然是约饭好时机，每逢佳节胖三斤 可不是空穴来风。有时候还会跟几个好友去密室逃脱或者玩些狼人杀这类的桌游。

密室逃脱: room escape

桌游：board game

狼人杀：werewolf

●Haircut / Nail art

Haircut, 名词，“发型”，“理发”就可以说：have/get a haircut.

I haven’t had a haircut for months.

我好几个月没理发了。

新发型：new haircut.

假期，除了逛吃逛吃，各个节日女生还会去美个甲(nail art 或者nail salon)，迎合节日的气氛。

●Be on the ropes

我们知道rope有“绳子”的意思。Be on the ropes 在口语中可以表示“走投无路”的意思。

比如：

He said that wolf was on the ropes.

他说那匹狼已经走投无路了。
