雅思口语话题——饮水

随着九月初一大批“勇士”考生奔赴口语考场，新考季的口语题库也渐渐浮出水面。诸多新题当中，part one话题“饮水”吸引了考生们的注意。雅思口语话题，真是管天管地啊，连“喝水”都成了考试话题。看来以后水可不能乱喝。

这么一个看似“古灵精怪”却又和生活息息相关的话题，究竟包含什么小问题呢?如下这些问题供大家参考，都是来自于“勇士”型考生们的精彩回忆。

这些问题貌似不难，但是也绝算不上简单。这么一件生活中的小事，我们得认真对待了。接下来，陆哲老师带着大家一起解析一下这些问题。

1， How often do you drink water?

每当被问到how often，考生们都会不自觉地想回答一个准确的频率，例如three times a day, once per hour等。喝水都如此有规律的人，肯定是强迫“癌”晚期啊。其实这道题的答案也没有必要如此地上纲上线。

参考答案：

Pretty often. For example, during weekdays I drink some water in every break between two classes, which means I drink water around 7 or 8 times a day. At weekends, I do not really know how often I drink water, simply because I have not paid any attention to the frequency of drinking water.

这个答案前后两个部分包含了较为精确的频率和含糊的答法，供各位参考。

2， What kind of water do you like to drink?

什么种类的水?这一瞬间我的脑洞就开了……

其实，我们常喝的水还真的可以被分成好多种。其中较为常见的概念如下：

Tap water 自来水 (这个在咱们国家的确是不能直接喝，但是很多欧洲国家都是直饮水国家，他们可谓是天天喝。)

Water from water purifier 净水机的水(与后文题目中的water from water machine类似)相信这个是咱们大家比较常喝的水了。

Boiled water 白开水，或者强调一下cold boiled water凉白开，以及hot boiled water强调要喝热的。

Bottled water 瓶装水。准确地说，瓶装水通常还有purified water 纯净水和mineral water矿泉水。

了解了各种饮用水(drinking water)的分类之后，这道题的答案就比较简单了。

Since in my country the tap water is undrinkable, I usually buy some bottled water to drink. In my campus, there are over 100 vending machines selling bottled water with different brands. By the way, the brand I like most is Kunlunshan.

3，Do you prefer drinking bottled water or water from water machine?

来个我切身感受的答案。

Without a shadow of a doubt, I like to choose bottled water, just because it is safe. Bottled water in my country is under strict quality control. However, the water machine is not. I do not know its working theory, like how many filters there are in the machine, or how often those filters can be changed. In a word, I do not trust it.

实话实说，一些公共场所的饮水机滤芯的更换频率是让人担忧的。如果滤芯不能及时更换，那么水质肯定呵呵。

4， Is bottled water expensive in your country?

这个问题有意思了，其实品牌不同以及售水的地点不同，这个价格也大相径庭啊。北京站外面天桥底下的山寨怡宝和农夫山泉挺便宜的。但是北京机场T3航站楼的矿泉水可真的小贵啊。

In fact, it depends on different brands. The French brand Evian is the most expensive one I know. Usually one 500ml bottled water costs 20 Yuan. However, the bottled water in same size with some domestic brands only costs us 2 or 3 Yuan. Obviously, they are more affordable for average people.

5， What is the difference between bottled water and tap water?

这个很好解释了，一个能喝一个不能喝。

As I mentioned, the tap water in my country cannot meet the minimum drinking-water standards. And people often only use it to do some cleaning. In almost every family, there must be some bottled water or a water purifier to supply drinking water. By the way, in some areas, the tap water smells of bleach.

补充一句，其实能闻出漂白粉的味道还是挺常见的。但是这正常与否或者符合自来水标准与否我不太清楚。大家可以网搜一下。

6， Do you have any experience of being thirsty?

否定的答案：

Not really. I often drink lots of water every day. And I was told that drinking enough water is quite important for our health, and an adult should drink at least 2 liter water every day. Some doctors always say that it is wrong that we need not drink water if we do not feel thirsty.

肯定的答案：

Surely. I am a sport fan, so I like doing sports very much. While doing some sports like running or playing basketball, I feel really thirsty. I think it is our body’s normal reaction.
