如果结婚是一个happy ending，从此公主与王子幸福地在一起，那么到达幸福彼岸前要经历些什么呢?

First，you carry a (secret) crush on someone—or, it may be love at the first sight.

首先，你迷/暗恋上某人——也可能是一见钟情。

Your heart flutter and your head spin when he/she comes towards you.

你小鹿乱撞、天旋地转当他/她向你走来。

Then, you may choose to write a love letter or just go to tell him/her your feelings, if you are courageous enough.

接下来，你可以选择写情书，亦或是直接走去表白，如果足够有勇气。

《初恋这件小事》，小水向学长表白。Santa最喜欢的表白场景哈哈。

Once you succeed, you get to have your first taste of love and each other’s company .

一旦成功，你就可以尝尝初恋的味道啦，还有彼此的陪伴(把company想成公司就闹笑话啦)。

You are found holding hands with someone on the street.

你会被看到和人牵手走在街上。

You talk endlessly on the phone or exchange messages with him/her all the time.

你总是在讲电话，或是和他/她发信息。

You look fresh and your cheeks rosier.

你看起来神清气爽、小脸红扑扑。

You see all the stars in each other’s eyes and you kiss.

你们在彼此眼中看到灿烂星辰然后拥吻。

大概许多95后、00后“过来人”这时就要说“做梦呢吧”了。

当然分手(break up/split)也不一定就要这么绝，比如A妹和Pete:

据报道称，”the two still have love for each other”，and ”aren’t ruling out the possibility of anything in the future”。就是仍然有爱，且不排除未来的一切可能啦。

Aisle 本意走廊、过道，常用于飞机上、教室和教堂里。

当一对新人沿着教堂的过道走下去，就是要携手终身的意思了。

所以以后就可以用go down the aisle这个地道表达来替换get married啦!
