首先，我们来看下2018年1-5月雅思考试类别：

　　不难发现一个特点：2010-2013年的一些考题出现在了2018年，题目只是进行了“小幅度”的同义替换。比如20180303的考题，在20130216（somepeople think lawbreakers should be sent to prison, while others think there are some alternatives. Discuss both views and give your own opinion）就出现过。20180512的题目类似于20110611，而20180524题目类似于20100619等，虽然题目类型有点不一样，但是其中的观点论证确实大同小异的。

　　雅思写作Task2按大的范畴分可分为七大类，即“教育类”，“社会类”，“环境类”，“媒体类”，“政府职能类”，“科技类”和“犯罪类”。若是按更细节化的标准则可以分成十六大类（详情请参考环球教育写作第八代教材）。通过对现有的17个考题分析，“社会类”出现的频率是最高的（6次），这也符合去年2017年的考情（18次）。紧随其后的是“教育类”，教育问题其实一直也都是当今社会探讨的重点问题。“媒体类”，“环境类”和“科技类”则并列位居第三，各出现3次。

　　但是更值得引起我们注意的是有些题目是“跨题材”的，比如20180118 的“Lectures were used as a way of teaching large number ofstudents, but now with the development of technology for education, many peoplethink there is no justification for attending lectures. To what extent do youagree or disagree? ”。题中虽然讲的是跟教育相关的话题，但是也提到了科技，学生在写作的时候也有可能会提到远程教育的概念，那么这个题目其实也跟科技类结合了。而“政府职能类”和“犯罪类”目前只出现过一次。在2017年的考试当时政府职能类出现过6次，而“犯罪类”则只在去年G类考试当中出现过。

　　经过问卷调查，学生其实更多的还是希望得到一些考试建议和预测。就现有的考题，kendra给出一些备考建议：

　　01.观点类作文一定是考试的重点之重，在现有的考题中所占比例超过了90%. 所以学生一定要对这种题目类型的论证方法以及框架要掌握熟练。

　　02. 审题一定要清楚。写出作文的前提一定是看懂题目，对于单词还不能解决的学生，建议把2010-2013年的考题都认真阅读一遍。如果有看不懂题的情况要及时问老师。

　　03.话题词汇的积累。写作跟其他科目不同，所需要的不是独立存在的单词，而是单词的搭配，也就是俗称的“词伙”。这就是为什么那么多考生词汇量大，但是写作还是万年5.5的原因。

　　04.课外知识的积累。写作考察的不仅仅是单词语法的语言知识，更包括学生对这个事情的认知甚至是对整个社会或者世界的认知。比如 20180407的题目，这就需要学生政治学社会学的常识了。
