Do you like traveling?

Yes, I like traveling. Firstly, I  believe that traveling is always educational. What I mean to say is that the  people that you meet along the way are usually interesting. Secondly, I wish  I were able to travel more. For example, I have not traveled to a foreign  country yet.

How do you usually travel?

In China I like to travel by train.  Allow me to explain. Firstly, when I travel by train I am able to see more of  China. In addition, the trains in China are convenient and comfortable. For  example, I can travel to any city, and I am able to sleep on the train.  Lastly, traveling on a train is a social event as well. For example, one can  chat to the other passengers about where they are going, and why they are  traveling.

What kind of places do  you like to visit?

I like to visit  places where there is a lot of entertainment. For example, I don’t like it  when we go and visit my grandparents in the country. They live on a farm and  don’t even have a computer for me to play on. I like to visit the cities  where there are movies to watch and nightclubs to visit.

There's one  particular street market I remember visiting a few years ago. I was traveling  with some friends in Yunnan and we stopped off in a town called Lijiang.

We went to  explore the center of the town one morning and it was literally mobbed with  people, I think it was a Tuesday morning if I remember correctly. Anyway we  asked one of the locals what was going on and he explained that it was  'market day' which apparently is a big event for them.

 We strolled down the street to see what all the fuss was about. When we  arrived at the market it was really impressive, it spanned about 5 blocks and  there seemed to be all kinds of different things you could buy. We saw  clothes, food, shoes, jewelry and many local crafts for sale as well.

 I think we must have spent a couple of hours there just exploring all the  market stalls and some of us bought some souvenirs for friends back home. It  was a great experience because there were people from all over the regions.  After we had finished looking at everything we stopped at one of the food  stalls to have some lunch, some spicy noodles and a nice refreshing beer, it  was excellent.

 I think it's one of the biggest markets I've ever been to, and it was  certainly one of the most colorful. They even had buskers  there performing all day.

 Market day is a big tradition for the town and the locals always look forward  to it each month. And I also look forward to seeing it again in the future.

What are the advantages of people living in tourist attractions?

 

Well, the advantages for people who live in tourist attractions are

pretty evident.For a starter, compared with cities where the

pollution is getting unstoppably worse, life at tourist attractions is

definitely good for health. Besides, the people there can make loads ofmoney on tourism industry and a number of related industries like

serving food in restaurants, selling souvenirs to tourists.
