Part 2:
Describe a movieyou watched recently.
You should say:what movie it is
when you watched this movie
what the movie is about
and explain why you like this movie
—The movie I amgoing to talk about today is Paddington. It is one of my favourite fantasymovies I have ever watched. I watched this movie last month with my bestfriend. The reason why we decided to watch this movie was that the prevue wasfantastic. Besides, many of my friends who had watched this movie all stronglyrecommended it to me. This movie tells a story about a bear named Paddington. At first, Paddington lives with his uncle and aunt in Peru. However, after aterrible earthquake, his uncle is missing. Paddington’s aunt decides to go to anursing home for bears and she asks Paddington to go to London to look for aBritish explorer who has visited Peru before. While looking for that explorer,Paddington meets the Browns. Mrs. Brown is a very kind, warm-hearted andhospitable lady. She takes Paddington in and tries her best to help Paddingtonto find that explorer. In contrast, Mr. Brown does not like Paddington verymuch and he wants to get rid of Paddington as soon as possible. WhilePaddington is blending into the Browns, a taxidermist from Natural HistoryMuseum is trying to make Paddington into a sample. With all the help from theBrowns, the taxidermist gets her own punishment in the end. At the same time,Paddington decides to live with the Browns ever after. This is one of myfavourite movies because I was moved by the mutual love and caring betweenhuman and animals. In addition, it inspired me to take care of those homelesscats and dogs.

1. Why do you like watching films?
—There are three reasons. Firstly, while watching films, I canacquire different kinds of knowledge. For example, when I am watching English-speakingfilms, I can learn some English words, phrases, as well as slangs from thedialogues. Secondly, watching films offers a great opportunity for me to getalong with my friends. It has already been one of our routines to go to thecinema after having diner together. Thirdly, it is one of the best ways torelax myself. While watching a film, I can focus on the story and forgeteverything about myself, especially those troubles.
2. Do you like watching films inthe cinema or at home?
—In fact, I prefer to watch films at home. The first reason is thatthe film tickets are getting more and more expensive. As a student, Idon’t havetoo much pocket money to watch every film in the cinema. Additionally, watchingfilms at home offers me more freedom. By this I mean when I am watching a filmat home, I can pause the film anytimeI want so that I can get myself a drink orgo to the bathroom. In contrast, when I am watching a film in the cinema, I can’tdo any of these.
