For example, if an overseas student has to inform one of his/her friends of something urgent, he/her can contact his/her friend by making a telephone call, which is really a efficient way based on technology. In the second place, technology help people make a great achievement in the filed of medicine. Exactly, due to advanced technology, people’s life expectancy has been lengthened and the infant mortality has been reduced. Finally, the modern transportation which is based on technology makes people realize their many dreams. In the past, it was difficult for people to travel to another place, but today they can be in several places in one day with the help of airplane.

     However, the disadvantages can not be ignored. For one thing, technology has caused many environmental problems, such as the various pollutions. Just as we all know, today people’s lives has been disturbed seriously by such problems. Furthermore, modern weapons created by technology pose a threat on the existence of mankind. Specifically, nuclear missile can destroy one whole city in a few minutes.

     Based on the above discussion, I agree with the point that technology does humans more good than harm. It makes people’s life more convenient and they live a longer life than ever before. Moreover, people can reach every corner of the world easily. Therefore, people would better try their best to improve the development of technology.
