　　4 weeks' holiday can make employees do better at job. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

　　题目大意：

　　有观点称企业应该至少给4周年假，可以更有利于员工的工作。同意还是反对？

　　思路：

　　建议选择部分同意，从双边论证的角度阐述长假期的利弊。

　　让步段从雇主的角度，提出对长假期的质疑；在主体段对质疑予以反驳，并从两个层面予以论证，一是工作本身的实用层面，二是心理层面。

　　审题，找出关键词：

　　4weeks' holiday：4周长假期（关键词在于假期的长度，所有的利弊是关于假期的长期）

　　It is claimed that a long holiday for 4 weeks can improve employees’ performance at work. While there does exist some apprehensions about its possible drawbacks, I would agree with the idea while considering its benefits in increasing the physical quality of employees and their enthusiasm towards work.

　　Indeed, such a suggestion will undoubtedly be greeted with skepticism from employers, who worry that an extended vacation might distract some employees’ devotion to work and therefore impact the productivity of the company.

　　However, if we explore the advantages of this practice in a more profound way, it is safe to conclude that a welfare of an extended holiday is practical to improve many workers' performance. From an economic perspective, to allow extra holidays does not necessarily mean the reduction of productivity, given that there is actually not too much business in slow seasons. By contrast, if they were given more days off during this period, they could have more relaxation that contributes to later work, or some of them may even take advantage of these days to learn new vocational skills for potential challenges.

　　Also, the happiness of job is another key factor we cannot afford to ignore when considering this practice. Living in a highly competitive business world, a multitude of workers are obliged to toil long hours, whether these be cheap labors in manufacturing industries or well-paid talents in IT or financial sectors, which leads to the resentment of being exploited, no matter how much they are paid. In response to this, the welfare of extended vacation works as a better incentive than a simple increase in the paycheck, which in turn increases their satisfaction with companies.

　　In conclusion, it looks to me that working adults are entitled to enjoy a longer holiday, given the fact that it will motivate them to better immerse in their job.
